LOVE! And RESPECT Your Parents For GOD Wants You to!

LOVE And RESPECT Your Parents For GOD Wants You To!

9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
Leviticus 20:9 King James Version (KJV)

GOD says anyone who curses his or her parent, must be put to death! Leviticus 20:9
GOD takes authority seriously. HE takes the role parents play in your life seriously too. Respect your parents; GOD knows why HE put them in your life. Sometimes they make mistakes. That doesn't mean you should talk back, ignore or disrespect them. Acknowledge the leadership role GOD has put in their hands. Thank GOD you have a parent who is alive and you call your own. Forgive and appreciate them. Let go of their flaws and take to their advice...

#Prayer Point: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

Be A Christian Child

Be A Christian Child

24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.
Proverbs 23:24 King James Version (KJV)

Your Parents are happy when you're a Christian; a person who does what is expected of him or her. You play by the book, you're always responsible, and doing more than what is required. It is a pleasant thing when people ask your parents about you and they have a remarkable answer to give. Be a child that when your parents think of you, it brings them joy, for one day you will have your own children and you will want the best from them.

#Prayer Point: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

LORD, HELP ME BE PERFECT IN THE EYES OF MY PARENTS, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

With JESUS you live life beyond the ordinary

25 Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.
Proverbs 23:25 King James Version (KJV)

Parents are important, for they are the source and origin, GOD chose for you to come to this world. When the source is performing excellently well, the remaining parts will function well.

23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.
25 Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.
Proverbs 23:23-25 King James Version (KJV)

You need to have the truth which is JESUS, who gives you access to GOD, and you will enjoy the revelations of HOLY SPIRIT. In pleasing your parent does not just come with you being obedient, it also comes with you being successful. Your parents have to know you are doing excellently well, it will bring joy into their hearts to see their product, being productive and fruitful and all that is needed in life you are doing more than expected.

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2 King James Version (KJV)

JESUS can perfect your relationship between you and your parent

JESUS Can Perfect The Relationship Between You And Your Parent

24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.
Proverbs 23:24 King James Version (KJV)

Your parents get so much when you make them proud. You can't seem to get it right with them if you don't have CHRIST.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 King James Version (KJV)

There are times when you look at people, the way they always get things right and done without making any special effort and you wonder what is going on with you, a Christian. You're meant to be a child of the one who is great and everything about your life is not sorted, especially the relationship with your parents!

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 15:4-5 King James Version (KJV)

As a Christian, you always have to remember your source, "JESUS". You're a Christian; you're nothing like the world. You always have to ask questions about your life. Why are things the way they are? Always sort out your life with JESUS and make sure you involve HIM, because you can't do it on your own.

There's nothing GOD can't solve. HE is a specialist in solving broken and terrible relationships, making them work perfectly well.

7 When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Proverbs 16:7 King James Version (KJV)

You have Parents for a Reason!

You Have Parents For A Reason!

22 Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old
Proverbs 23:22 King James Version (KJV)

What's the point that you have a parent you don't listen to! They make rules and you don't abide by them...

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Ephesians 6:1 King James Version (KJV)

Then why are you born or alive if you won't obey the people GOD put you under?

2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
Ephesians 6:2-3 King James Version (KJV)

Your parents may not know what's in your heart, or be detailed on how you feel deep inside... just take to them and obey them... GOD has a reason for putting them over you... listen to them now and forever. Don't ignore any of them even if you are married, you moved out or they are old!

20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
Colossians 3:20 King James Version (KJV)

Love your parents. Whether they've been good or bad, love them... It's a command by GOD to love them!

17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Hebrews 13:17 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Point: 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14King James Version (KJV)

LORD, no matter the case or situation, let me always know how to obey and respect my parents, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

To save your Family name and Generation at large.. Train your Child well!

Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
Proverbs 23:13 King James Version (KJV)

It is true, that a child will do something that is plain wrong, and you would ask yourself where did the child get it from. It is now your job to correct the issue and make sure that your child is well behaved.

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
Proverbs 22:15 King James Version (KJV)

Don't live your child, without you correcting him/her...

And his father had not displeased him at any time in saying, Why hast thou done so? and he also was a very goodly man; and his mother bare him after Absalom.
1 Kings 1:6 King James Version (KJV)

Discipline Your Child… Dear Christian

Discipline Your Child Dear Christian.

Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.
Proverbs 23:14 King James Version (KJV)

Discipline goes a long way in a child. You can't afford to let your child be or act the way he/she wants. There has to be some restraining….some do's and don'ts...

Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.
Proverbs 29:17 King James Version (KJV)

A disciplined child is one that will benefit you a lot. You don't have to worry where your child is. You know that your child will be well behaved because you have trained the child in the right manner.

He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
Proverbs 13:24 King James Version (KJV)

When you find yourself in a situation whereby you don't know how to discipline your child, ask GOD for guidance. Tell the HOLY SPIRIT to teach you what to do and how to train your child.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26 King James Version (KJV)

Don't give up on your child, keep working on him/her. GOD has a reason why HE put that child in your care. When you give up on a child, you give up the task GOD has put on your hands...

The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
Proverbs 29:15 King James Version (KJV)

Teach your child to be a Christian; don't ignore teaching him or her the teachings of CHRIST, for it will go a long way! I am a living example; these teachings go a long way!

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
Proverbs 22:15 King James Version (KJV)

Instill in your child that they remain Christians, it's very important! It will be effective later on in life.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Points: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

1. LORD, help me raise my child up to #YOUR standard, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 King James Version (KJV)

2. Let’s pray for those affected by the Earthquake in Nepal that GOD will intervene and restore all that was lost, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

How to make your parents happy with you…

How To Make Your Parents Happy With You…

25 A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him.
Proverbs 17:25 King James Version (KJV)

If your parents are happy, you are truly happy, and if they are not, you’re not happy either. Therefore, it is important you live a life that brings them joy. There's nothing like a parent that blesses a child, the life of that child is different, because the child is truly blessed!

20 A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
Proverbs 15:20 King James Version (KJV)

Be careful of your choices… For they affect the people in your life

Be Careful On Your Choices For They Affect The People In Your Life

21 He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy.
Proverbs 17:21 King James Version (KJV)

Be careful on your choices. Don’t always act like you are alone, or what you do doesn't affect other people! Remember you have parents, siblings, other family members, or close friends that you can call family. So, don’t go around making decisions that can negatively affect the people around you. There is no joy when you act without thinking. If you are caught doing the wrong thing, the people in your life are also affected, be cautious.

24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.  Proverbs 23:24 King James Version (KJV)

From the person you want to have as a friend to the person you want to marry, from your ambitions and to the way you want to achieve them, you have to put everything into considerations when making up your mind on what to do! When you begin to have issues, it's your family that is mostly affected. Your decisions can either cause everyone to come together to celebrate you or wonder what kind of creature you are to cause such disaster!

10 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
Proverbs 10:1 King James Version (KJV)

A relationship with JESUS helps one to make the right choices. Don't go around living your life without any reason. You should first think whether JESUS would do that or not? A relationship with JESUS gives you access to the HOLY SPIRIT whose job is to teach you what to do all the time.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26 King James Version (KJV)

Have a listening ear to what the HOLY SPIRIT is saying and ensure you are obedient.  You will achieve great results in life that will cause every member of your family to be proud of you!

6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.                                            Revelation 3:6 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Points: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

1. LORD, help me to listen and be obedient to the HOLY SPIRIT as HE leads me on how I should live my life, IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Psalm 143:10 King James Version (KJV)

2. LORD, make me into a person that is appreciated, when my family and everyone around thinks of me, IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Psalm 51:1 King James Version (KJV)

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Children, Obey Your Parents In The Lord, For This Is Right.

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Ephesians 6:1 King James Version (KJV)

Sometimes, it's hard. You don’t understand why your parents tell you to do some things! You wish you could let go of them somehow. The truth is you can't pick someone else on the street as your parent. GOD will honor the fact that you obey them. HE will appreciate the fact that you listen, for it is the right thing before HIS eyes!

13 A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
Proverbs 13:1 King James Version (KJV)

There is nothing like the joy in the heart of your parents when they see you obey their instructions over your life. Well you may not understand now, but later in the future you will. You will know the reason why they wanted you in bed early, have a close relationship with JESUS, stay away from certain friends, and be the best in your education. Parents have lived before us, but funny enough we, humans, still go through the same cycle of life. The times may be different, but the occurrences don’t change. Birth, weddings, job, love and many more, they have seen it all. They have been successful with some decision, while they made mistakes in others. They will always want the best for you!

11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
Proverbs 27:11 King James Version (KJV)

Learn to obey and love your parents, for you will not always have them around. Obedience improves the relationship between you and your parents. One day you will also be parent and you would love your children to obey you!

10 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
Proverbs 10:1 King James Version (KJV)

GOD sees it right that you obey your parents. He did not say consider, HE means #OBEY!

28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Luke 11:28 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Points: 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

1. LORD, give me the #Grace to obey my parents, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 King James Version (KJV)

2. LORD, thank you that YOUR Glory has risen over NIGERIA, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Honor your parents!

Honor Your Parents!

2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
Ephesians 6:2 King James Version (KJV)

Don’t talk down on your parents and be there to defend them. Don't laugh at jokes that bring them down. They form the integral core parts of your life. If you cannot stand for them who will?

Well, some people can't be with their parents in public due to reasons like they are illiterate, disabled or many other unexplainable reasons. Nevertheless, one cannot afford to do away with them. They are the reason why you were born. They are the facts of your existence; therefore, they must be honored!

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Ephesians 6:1 King James Version (KJV)

GOD considers them important. HE took time to explain that we as children should respect and honor our parents. This includes times when they become old or sick; we need to be there for them as children. It doesn't matter whether they were there for you or not. GOD didn't make excuses for people who had bad parents. #Honor means #Honor, no matter the type of parents!

2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
Ephesians 6:2 King James Version (KJV)

Sometimes, you may be having hard times in loving your parents or not just having time for them in your busy schedule. Pray for Grace. For the Grace of GOD is made available in all our weaknesses, no matter the type!

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Points: 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

1. LORD, teach me to love and honor my parents, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

11 Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
Psalm 86:11 King James Version (KJV)

2. LORD, empower me to be there for my parents at all times, IN JESUS, AMEN.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)

3.  LORD, thank you for giving us the WISDOM to make the best of what we have, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

O give thanks unto the LORD, for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
Psalms 107:1

4. LORD, thank you for the wonderful election, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:20

Dear Child…. Obey Your Parents….

Dear Child, Obey Your Parents.

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Ephesians 6:1 King James Version (KJV)

There is a reason why you are called a "child". You're not here on earth before your parents. No matter how educated, enlightened, and in style you think you are, you can't have enormous life experience more than your parents. Ignoring them is a dangerous move as a child to his or her parent.

10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Mark 7:10-13

JESUS commands us to love our parents. There is no point if you're important and loved by many, and your relationship with your parents is terrible. My mum always says, "You can't be an ant outside and an elephant inside".  Your true character will be expressed some day, and people will know you for who you are.

2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
Ephesians 6:2 King James Version (KJV)

Yorubas have a way connoting someone's misbehaviour, especially if it’s done to somebody who is old enough to be their parent. They will say, "Don't you have parents at home that you are disrespecting someone older than you". For to be successful in life, entails you to be obedient to your parents.
Open your heart to what they say. GOD knows why HE put that type of parents over you. Obey, for no parent wants his or her child to experience what he or she has. There is not point for a parent to keep quiet when a child is heading the same direction they headed and failed, and made them regret all their life.

There is no way you can truly love, obey and honour GOD, if you cannot obey you parents.

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
1 John 4:20 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Points: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

1. LORD, give me a heart that listens and a mind that obeys all that you say through my parents, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
Psalm 119:33 King James Version (KJV)

2. LORD, help Nigeria throughout the electoral process, and elect the right people peacefully, IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.

The Recipe to get closer to GOD is this...

The Recipe To Get Closer To GOD Is This…

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Joshua 1:8  King James Version ( KJV)

You can start with the points below, and as you continue, you will be able to increase the time you spend with GOD

1. Read your Bible [King James Version] for 15 minutes
2. Worship for 10 minutes
3. Pray for 10 minutes
Do all three every Day and Night.
The First 5 minutes of prayer, speak in tongues inviting the HOLY SPIRIT
Use the rest to pray about things in your life
Pick a day of the week when you fast and pray solely about the future, your career, your life and many more e.g., what you want to become, etc.

Don't just read the BIBLE anyhow, have a BIBLE planner that will enable you to read it cover to cover for at least a year [Click this link to view one].

Try this for a week, and I'm telling you your life won't remain the same. You will see visions. You will know what GOD is saying concerning your life...

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Joel 2:28-29 King James Version (KJV)

You can only go on with this if you have a personal relationship with JESUS. It's easy to start one if you haven't. Say these few words...

"LORD JESUS I accept you into my life as my LORD and personal saviour... From now on I want you to take the lead... It's not about me anymore but about you... From now on, I want you JESUS to be the only goal of my LIFE. In JESUS name I have prayed."

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:10-11 King James Version (KJV)

Now you're Christian.  Fight for your relationship with JESUS day and night. Read the WORD, tell HIM how you feel, and what's bothering you. When you do that, you're praying. In addition, love to worship; it's an amazing experience...

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Psalm 84:10 King James Version (KJV)

Know this, before you turn to fellow human beings for counsel, remember the HOLY SPIRIT and ask HIM for help.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26 King James Version (KJV)

After doing all this, you need to start attending a BIBLE believing church. Ask the HOLY SPIRIT to guide you on which church you should join and HE will surely lead you.

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8 King James Version (KJV)

122 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
Psalm 122:1 King James Version (KJV)

GOD BLESS YOU!!
